Outsourcing guidance will ensure that your relationship does not circle around college planning "discussions" for the last year before they leave the nest. Our digital platform and regular updates will keep you, as a parent, in the loop and feeling connected to the process.

College Coaching Services

The "All Access" Coaching & Guidance Plan

The "All Access" can start anytime from 8th grade - 10th grade and will carry you through to the end of the college process. This will be the theme of our time together - What makes you, you? Where will you flourish and thrive? What is your authentic narrative? What are your strengths and where can those shine?

Uber-personalized support is focused on (1) Being present and not letting the high school years be focused entirely on what is next (2) having a college list filled with schools you’d love to attend (3) staying positive and committed to the process (4) working smarter not harder and (5) optionality.

Comprehensive Guidance

This program is a great fit for students applying to private & public colleges with ranging acceptance rates. It includes 10-12 meetings and extensive follow up between those touch points. It includes access to our college planning software, essay workshops and reviews, branding development and application review -all the way to hitting the submit button. Ideally we begin Janaury of a students Junior year. The average dedicated counselor hours is 40- 50 hour

Senior Essentials

This program is similar to the Comprehensive Guidance package but requires a little more student independence between meetings given the shorter time frame. It includes 6-7 counselor meetings (approx) which is approx 30-40 counselor hours.

California Dreaming

This is appropriate for a student applying to UC and Cal State Universities. It includes 4 -counselor meetings (approx) and extensive follow-up in between those touch points. It includes access to our custom college planning software, a 4 hour essay workshop, essay reviews and application oversight all the way to hitting the submit button.

Ideally we begin the process Janaury of a students Junior year but this plan is more flexible given the focus on CA Public Universities.

Student-Athlete Guidance

After an initial consultation, a custom plan that honors the students academic interests, specific financial situation and athletic goals will be presented. Crosby College Coaching offers an academic approach for athletes often mirroring our comprehensive guidance plan (detailed above) for students alongside your athletic recruiting process.

DIY (kinda - sorta)

For the DIY type - we can offer an interactive project planning platform wtih less formal check-ins but still clear checkpoints in the process that we oversee for progress. This would include 2 in person meetings plus feedback and suggestions via email. This requires well honed executive functioning skills and even at times, parental scaffolding.

Hourly Guidance

Hourly admissions guidance is available. Hourly guidance can be used for additional needs during the Junior or Senior Year on top of a plan, or for early guidance 8th- Sophomore years. It can also be used to evaluate each college attending specific college recruiting camps and identify good financial and academic fits for athletes prior to the event.
